Available in almost every supermarket, these great tasting "chicken" patties are not made from corn but a fungus! They are an excellent source of high quality protein and fiber, have NO saturated fat, are very satiating, and actually lower blood sugar and bad cholesterol levels a bit. And environmentally, they are a star!

Ingredients

Thousand Island Dressing:

  • 1 c plant based mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Or, just plant mayo and ketchup!


Patties:

  • 1 package of frozen quorn chiqin Patties (I prefer these to cutlets)
  • Hamburger buns
  • Plant cheese such as Chao, Violife or Wegmans
  • Onions
  • Mushrooms
  • Pickles
  • Lettuce

Instructions

Thousand Island Dressing:

  1. Combine 1 c plant based mayonnaise, 1/4 cup yellow onion, minced, 2 tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp paprika


Patties:

  1. We place ours in an air fryer for a crispy and easy way to cook
